Adoption of lighter semi-trailers due to innovative design. The selected equipment is about 2 tons lighter than a standard vehicle. Made in Austria, Air Products had to have these semi-trailers approved in France with the help of its carrier.

Weight being the limiting factor in transporting gas bottles, by adopting lighter sets, it is possible either to save fuel by transporting less weight (10 to 15% during our 4-week test in 2013 in Auvergne), or to put more goods on the tour and thus eliminate a few trucks on the road (about 1 trip every 10 shuttles).
