To reduce the volumes transported between its sites, MAPEI France mobilizes its R&D, Production, Supply Chain and Purchasing teams to enable each plant to produce the bulk of the customer requirements in its catchment area. This requires, in particular, the development of formulas, the search for new raw materials and the adaptation of plant organisation. By increasing the tonnage produced locally, MAPEI France will reduce the volume transported between its sites by 10% in 2019 compared to 2018. Several projects are underway with an additional reduction target of 15%. This will enable more than 200 trucks to be taken off the road each year.
