For one of its divisions, SCA has set up a network of cross-docking platforms in France, in order to group together flows from different production units in Europe in its customers' orders. This approach has led to a substantial reduction in the kilometres travelled by our products and therefore in CO2 emissions. Geographically chosen in an optimized way, the platforms make it possible to massify the flows and also to avoid inter-plant transfers, which are highly CO2 consuming. Our customers thus have access to the entire product catalogue without having to make a purchase.
